Lets kick this email off with a happy valentines day. We got a couple inches of snow to celebrate our day. But I will get into our Valentine day fun later.
This week had many ups and we were kept busy. Lots of driving.
So monday we got to meet with the Lopez family who I dont think I have mentioned before. The wife is american and doesnt speak spanish and there 4 kids while they look hispanic do not speak very much in spanish. Mr Lopez speaks only a little english or purely in spanish. So I have been teaching him, and he has a lot of potential. I have talked with him several times and now I think he is ready to learn more.
We are continuing to work on several of the less actives in the English ward who are doing a great. They are coming to church on a regular basis and are really trying to make a big effort to change.
One of the recent convert families we are working on to get to the temple this saturday to do baptisms for the dead. They are this very nice couple named Todd and Loretta. They are older couple like in their 70s. There story is amazing as they were online one day and somehow ended up on LDS.org where after a little pop up ad came up offering a free bible. They kept clicking no till finally after the 5th time they clicked yes. Well missionaries showed up and invited them to come to church. They were very open minded about it so they went. Its there that Todd said that for the first time in his whole life, and they had attended so many different churches but this was the first time he had ever felt the spirit.
We are also launching the ward mission plan which is basically all the members will pray for three names and for missionary opportunities with them.
So with this Sunday we had dinner with a family of redheads who are awesome. There names are the shoafs. They live almost 25 or so minutes away so they gave us a ride back which was good because inbetween that time we had a snow storm. When we got home they were just getting ready to ground cars but we decided to try to make it out to a less active who we had schedule which luckily enough we did and then got back home safely. Elder Walton wasnt feeling very well so he just went to bed and I finished the night watching a movie (17 miracles).
But those are the highlights and all the really big things happening this week.
As always I love and miss you guys alot.
